Heavy Seas Prosit!

It's out already. The "usual suspect" retailers have it @ $6 or so a 22-ounce bottle. It's well-balanced, exactly what it claims to be--a German Oktoberfest lager on steroids at 9.0%, perhaps a bit sweeter than some folks will like but with a pronounced ale-like fruitiness in the body.

Max's is having a "kick off" event for it on Thursday the 27th, with the beer both on draft and on cask, with reps from Clipper City on hand beginning at 5 PM. It's already on draft in the bar.

Must-try beer if it's still on while you're there: Brew Dog Dogma from Scotland.
