A Different Kind of Brewery Collaboration

Evolution Craft Brewing of Delaware (for the moment) was seeking a venue for a beer dinner for Baltimore Beer Week, and found one: the Pratt Street Ale House for Tuesday, Oct. 11th:
Evo are bringing the big guns ... Morning Wood: [a] big oatmeal stout blended with oak aged stout conditioned on Sumatran coffe beans, 9%; Menagerie 3: redux--oak aged Scotch ale 9.4 %; Lot 6 [double IPA]. We'll ease you into the event with Dark Horse mild and will also offer My Minkey's [sic] Got Wood & Harvest Ale.
Menu and price TBA at the PSAH website.

What day will this be on Alex? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't find anything about this dinner on the PSAH website.

Can't say I'm usually all that big a fan of beer dinners, but this sounds pretty damn good. If it's not already sold out, I may need to try to attend this event.

Ooops, forgot the date. Corrected.

"TBA" is an abbreviation for "To Be Announced." Steve Jones posted the details and date as soon as he had them; they're still ironing out the menu and price, apparently. And they certainly can't sell a ticket now without a price, can they?

Right you are, but... as PSAH is a bit slow to update their website announcements, it occurred to me that the information might already be out (just not posted).

Hopefully they'll iron out all the details soon...

Well, you COULD call the brewpub every ten minutes and badger them. Of course, that could also guarantee you'll never get a ticket to their events ever again, too.......

Nah, no need for that. I know you'll post the info on your blog... eventually. :-)

FYI ... the fine folks at Evolution committed to the event some time ago but we've only just pinned down the beer list. Obviously it's going to take a meeting or two with the chef to finalize the food side of the menu (and unfortunately for him, he's working in the dark somewhat, as he isn't able to sample a number of these beers in advance). As soon as that side of things is decided we can fix the price. I wanted to get the basic info out there as early as i could so people would be aware of the event, after all, there are so many options every night of BBW. As soon as all details are finalized we'll post them and I'm sure Sandy will as well.
