Pet Peeve of the Year

Okay, why is it that in almost EVERY drinking establishment I enter in Baltimore has a ton of those damned yellow-and-pink ballpoint pens from a certain BAIL BOND outfit?

Well, yeah, I KNOW why they have them--because said company gives them away by the vanload. They must own their own pen-making company.

But what impression is it making on out-of-towners that every booze place in town has the phone number of a bail bond company floating around?
